At 59,000 miles my 2010 aero started to really have some issues. My NAV was starting to completely fail, after having a small bullseye in the windshield fixed, a crack appeared and I had to replace it. No HUD windshields in the US so I lost the HUD, rain sensing wipers, intermittent wipers and lane departure feature. Battery failed while away and stealership charged $274 for replacement. My passenger side window wouldn't stay up. All in all I couldn't help but feel the GM DNA start to show its ugly head. As much as I liked the uniqueness of the car there were times I could see they had to rush this out to try and stay afloat. I thought for the money the interior was less than it should have been considering the competition.
I have no regrets but dealing with an orphan car, cost of parts and no support at this point in my life was not for me.
After 5 Saabs and hundreds of thousands of miles it's time to move along. I have been coming here for 20 years( 1st Saab was a 93 9000) and this community has always been a great resource. Saab owners are incredibly generous and helpful. I want to thank any of you that offered advice and help over the years.
Best of luck to you all,
JTMav
