Everything is frozen including the mud. Nothing really sticks to each other. It ( car cover ) helps me remove the ice and snow easily from the night before. When temperatures warm up I wash the car and wash the car cover in the washer or just hose it off. Simple.

Where did you see a canvas car cover?

The materials used for car covers are mostly light and breathable. It depends on how much you would spend on the car cover. The expensive ones are super light and could fit in a glove box.
