As Jon said - 72 was the first EMS with a 2.0 liter, but not in the states. We got the SSE instead.
The 73's came in copper coral metallic paint or yellow, but copper coral was the predominant color. They also had not fully developed the interiors as "special" so they did not get the sportier seats, door panels, or steering wheel. The steering wheel used still had an EMS logo on it though.
