Yeah, right.
My biggest fear is brittleness of the door trim plastic this weekend. All other steps of the repair don't appear too bad.
I went out at lunch and found the glass still in the up position where I left it this morning. I adjusted the glass so that it is fully seated in both the front and rear tracks, then jammed strips of corrugated cardboard between the glass and interior weather stripping all around the window.
I hope this will last for the 35 mile drive home. I have more cardboard in the car, as well as my desk scissors which will remain there until Monday.
