My two cents being in I.T.
Assume you are looking for Windows protection, my choices are different on other operating systems.
Agree with what others have said before me, no single product catches everything, etc. as well their thoughts on other protection offerings such as Malwarebytes.
Wanted to offer that I have many clients using either ESET or BitDefender as well as other products for those who don't use one of these 2 brands.
ESET has been pretty easy for most people, trouble free, protecting them well enough based upon lack of support calls.
BitDefender ok too, small percentage of users had some odd issues with it, right after install, but of late these are the 2 brands I like the most being lightweight but decent protection, and not generating a lot of support requests.
Both are in my opinion less obnoxious and problematic than some of the better known names such as Norton, McAfee, Avast, Avira & AVG etc.
Again I do not stop with protecting clients with JUST traditional antivirus and point to the advice of others here.
DO not have many clients using Kaspersky or others not mentioned
