We use the Mohu leaf antenna pictured here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004QK7HI8/ref=as_li_tf_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B004QK7HI8&linkCode=as2&tag=thesaabnetwork
It's mounted on our wall in our living room and does a pretty good job. I thinking of figuring out a roof mounted antenna but haven't got around to it. Amazon is now carrying their own brand of these in 25, 35, 50, and 60 miles versions I see: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DIFIM36/ref=as_li_tf_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B00DIFIM36&linkCode=as2&tag=thesaabnetwork
As long as you have a wifi router that support 802.11g (22Mbps) or 802.11n (54 Mbps), you should connect it to wifi. That is plenty of bandwidth. Our 802.11n Apple Extreme Wifi Router supports the three of us streaming video from my MacBook Pro to another MacBook Pro, iPad Mini, and AppleTV all at the same time without any problem. We were just doing this two nights ago.
