Rusty nut solution Posted by SWEDECAR [Email] (#112) [Profile/Gallery] (more from SWEDECAR) on Thu, 6 Aug 2015 08:35:13 In Reply to: Re: Numerous Northeast SAAB Sightings, EGD [Profile/Gallery] , Tue, 4 Aug 2015 14:56:38 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I recently bought a new tool I already love and have used several times now.
It's called Mini-Ductor II and is an induction heat tool to loosen up seized or rusty nut and bolts.
I was completely thrown away how effective it is and so much quicker and safer than bringing out the blow torch trying to get an open flame into cramped quarters or near rubber components.
I have used it on several exhaust nuts and even a brake caliper bleed nipple and also if I need to heat up some metal to bend it into shape.
Plus I get to play with that I'm Darth Vader swinging a light saber at the same time.
