maybe there is a difference between the ng9-3 and the og9-5 in the oil spec. For the OG9-5, I use Mobil 1 Euro spec 0W40, which is fairly readily available and frequently on sale. The oil filter I use from Mobil is the one for the PT Cruiser TURBO model. Same filter as the one they spec for the 9-5, but longer so more surface area. I do not own a ng9-3, but I am pretty sure that uses a different filter altogether. The og9-5 filter is the same as for most saabs going back to the c900 (or older?).
