$300k isn't a large policy anymore Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Fri, 12 Aug 2016 08:42:38 In Reply to: Life Insurance Scam?, No Snaab, Fri, 12 Aug 2016 07:49:50 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
It seems as if $1M is the point where proof of health is required. This is usually done by a traveling nurse who takes your blood pressure, your pulse, collects blood and urine samples for lab testing, measures your height and weight, reviews your answers to standard health and family history questions, and quietly notes any glaring discrepancies between what you state and what is obvious to the nurse.
And maybe only the $30 per month premium is guaranteed. It might be worded so that higher risk parties will be restricted to size of policy. The $300K may be the max amount for only the youngest and healthiest customers.
