Given my family's current transition to Nashville from Oklahoma, i'm needing to make a few changes. First off, the new house doesn't have a garage (yet...), so i've sold my immaculate Viggen convertible and plan on putting my daily driver '99 LB Viggen to "weekend car" status. So, i'll be looking for a new daily...and want to stay in the Saab family of course. I'll be driving back and forth to Oklahoma regularly, so want it to be reliable and comfortable for long drives, plus now that we're a little over 6 years from the infamous day when Stallbacka produced it's last Saab, i'm starting to think more about parts and maintenance.
All this being said, the 9-4X appears to be a good value on the used market - i've seen 3.0 Premium models with less than 90k miles go for $13k. The NG9-5 seems to have proven itself in reliability as well. Both seem to have similar LED and taillight issues however.
So, from 9-4X and NG9-5 owners...what are your thoughts from your ownership? Any problems? Would you buy another one?
