I think your response makes this post into a personal attack on me and I recall this site has rules against that. (it's not facebook thank god! ) there are many shops that can make exhausts and they don't need to make zillions to do it I found the analogy comparing Ikea to Borla (et all ) facile. they are apples and oranges apart. As an experienced mechanic and fabricator, I have made exhausts myself! one -offs My opinions are valid and my comments well considered. I have done business w/ many Saab tuners, shops worldwide.Their parts are on my car! And I deeply respect them all. Their expertise is invaluable and greatly appreciated. Perhaps you should read the article it is self-evident you did not? I'm a writer and thought it might make a good story - Borla making an exhaust for my Viggen! the reason I contacted Borla was I was lead to believe they could / would make exhausts as they have a really great sound which as it happens is something of a black art!( more art than science !) FYI I recently read that Porsche decides which muffler to use by their engineers standing by the side of the road watching their cars go by and ..........LISTENING !
