That's ludicrous paying it yearly. Michigan should have streets paved in gold & I'm sure that would stop people from owning and driving 3+ cars.

I have a friend that once lived in Florida and has moved to New York and has been living in New York for over 15 years. He still has his Florida license and all vehicles with Florida plates. I think he uses his brothers address to maintain his license. His wife has a New York license and his mortgage, power, land tax, basically anything to do with New York she dose and he takes care of the vehicles. Once a year he drives to Florida for the stickers but I think that's just an excuse to take a road trip because the stickers can be purchased online and the DMV mails them to you. I don't know how much New York changes but for him not wanting to get NY plates must be allot. He has a bus, 4 cars, and several trailers all Florida plates.

Might be allot of work doing a split residence but owning 5+ vehicles might be worth it.
