Well, i don't know what Scott thinks about my post but I can say it has nothing to do w/ ethnic slurs! personally, i am ethnically German, and respectful & proud of my heritage ! my paternal grandmother's name is Kaiser! I had uncles shooting at each other in WWII and we joked that one uncle( USA )shot the other uncle,(German) Herbert Kaiser, an "experten" W/68 victories! down -both were fighter pilots (both survived )! The point of my post was that there is a culture, that's been documented by Bob Lutz, et all ,(read his books he's an awesome car guy and mentions SAAB ) That culturally they are different ! they will and have done things in business that most businessmen in the US,( et all )people will not. That is just factual and true it has nothing to do w/ ethnic slurs tho ' it is a bit of a generalization I suppose. especially taken out of context. I had no intent to offend anyone and if I did I apologize. The VW diesel scandal is big news and shook the company to its core. the heretofore uber powerful, untouchable chairman had to resign and there was talk of criminal prosecutions. The cost is in the Billions. It's going to and is having far-reaching consequences. did you notice the Germans have said their goal is to stop making fossil fuel, gas and diesel cars? that is directly related to this scandal. Hope you like electric cars?
