Look around for large commercial cooking sheets. They are usually 18x26, but they can be up to 24x26. Aluminum, heavy gauge, last decades. Only 3/4" high. you could get one or two cheap at a used restaurant supply.
They used to sell a similar pan specifically for cars, but I haven't seen one in many years. They were usually steel and not as durable as the cooking sheet.
You could put kitty litter in it like Bill suggested if the leaks are bad.
