In a few years I may do the same. I have been running dedicated winter tires on my daily driver since the Fall of 2001. My wife runs All Seasons all year because her employer shuts down on the crappiest winter days (school system).
Once I retire, I will no longer need to drive on lousy days, so I will no longer need dedicated winter tires.
BTW - the Detroit area has only received 1/2 inch of snow so far this winter.
