Been looking for awhile . Most of them have the 4.2 inline 6 , but I need something to pull a trailer in the mountains . The Aero 97x had a 6.0 v8 , but too fuel thirsty . So I decided on the 5.3 vortec motor . Everything engine/drivetrain is so common and readily available . All the new vehicles that would meet my needs cost way over $50,000 at least , so I spent about 9 percent of that . The previous owner took good care of it by garaging it . Even had an excellent set of matching rims for changing out tires . Much more cargo space than the old 9-5 wagon , with air ride suspension and Stabilitrac which will probably give me some issues , but I am ready with my Tech 2 . Yep , real popular around the Motor City , but the Midwest salt has eaten them up . Out here in the Pacific Northwest rust isn't an issue .
