Sorry, best advice ?
buy another car ! find one NOT rusted, buy one from a non-rust area and get it Ziebart rustproofed then it will NEVER rust !
those are not such rare or valuable cars -except to the devotees! (I'm bursting bubbles here )
EVERY car I have looked at in rust areas ,like the midwest and east coast has been damaged and I pass !I do not even LOOK at them now ! TOTAL waste of time ! criminal neglect it is ! and it is SO sad as IF they had been Ziebart! rust proofed ? they would NEVER have rusted
(We grew up in Michigan and dad got ALL the cars Ziebarted they NEVER rusted ! CARS do not HAVE TO RUST ! iT CAN BE TOTALLY PREVENTED ! WHY DON'T YOU ? )
(News flash folks , cars STILL rust and Ziebart is STILL in business! SO YOU HAVE NO EXCUSE !)
IME rust You can never really fix all the rot if it is that bad! PASS!
another NOT rusted will come along !
The $ you spend to fix the damage will NEVER be recovered and no real collector will buy the car . I wouldn't .
PS IF you DO have a car NOT rusted and live where RUST happens? do the car and it 's future a favor ! get it Ziebart rust proofed NOW ! tin worm is incurable !
