just pay extra ( or have the buyer do it ) to get it transported in a COVERED, enclosed carrier !
if it is a nice car it is well worth it !
tell them NOT to be so cheap !
this baby was sent to me covered! about 2 k $ fr NH to AZ !
spraying WD 40 is silly w/ a enclosed transport covered car ! the other thing to do is request it be on the truck at the front right behind the cab ( less debris on an open carry transport , more protected ) but they may transfer it to a smaller carrier the transport
The industry is a unregulated minefield and mostly done by a bunch of cowboys trying to make living and the brokers will promise the moon and stars but often lie they just put the job on a computer list and indie drivers bid on it ! the same driver will pick up and deliver cars on his load from/to nearby cities. Make sure you take note of the milage as they have been known to upload the car and take it for a joyride and abuse it !
when I had my 2002 Saab viggen transported here ( AZ fr CA ) they swapped out the new battery for a used one !
