You are looking at SAAB's 10+ and 15 years old. That should say something good for their reliability and long life. You see a lot of posts about SAAB problems here because that is the main purpose of the site. People seek help to fix their problems. The people not needing help don't post very much. As the cars you describe are in the Classic 900 category, you should repost your question in the C900 board where you will get many more responses on the cars. (Classic 900 are the model with the older body style - made until 1993) Good luck
