Well, reliable is the key word Posted by Keith [Email] (#1462) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Keith) on Thu, 5 Oct 2000 23:48:25 In Reply to: SCC, raw like sushi.., Alessandro, Thu, 5 Oct 2000 20:00:13 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
At least it is "reliable". That what he said at least, but who really knows what the long term reliability will be like. I really hope this all works out. It will probably be one of the most significant and complicated advances in gas engines. Saab "merely" adapted turbos to passanger cars (it wasn't that simple, obviously), but compared to this, turbo charging seems like child's play. So, I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping to see some of the Orbital technology incorporated in this SVC (variable timing, combustion control, spark to piston). Expecting to buy a new 9-3 in a few years,, so I want to be one of the first to own the first variable compression engine!! All remains to be seen, tho...
