Scott, you must have been reading news from the United States, which was inacurate about what we and our allies were doing in Iraq during the "conflict"
The rest of the world knows that we bombed civilian cars, buses, and taxi's; 139 auto and railway bridges; food-processing, storage, and distribution systems; 100% of irrigation systems; wheat and grain fields (with incendiary bombs); 28 civilian hospitals (!!); 52 community health centers; clothing factories; an infant formula factory; 56 mosques (!!!!!!); more than 600 schools.....
The Commission of Inquiry for the International War Crimes Tribunal provides these numbers....
Even if we didnt kill civilians directly, we made it impossible for them to feed, clothe, and medically treat themselves. This was our "Surgical war." This all really freaks me out regarding what we may do to some other country. I think Zeke is right on here. So dont be too down on him... Our Govt has not shown a good record of giving its people the facts about what is really going on, which is why I pipe in my news from other countries. We all need to be informed, even if we dont really want to know
