My company has received a business directory from World Data Publishers. We did not order this directory, yet they are invoicing us $300! and claiming that since we are listed in the directory, we owe the money. I've done some research and they appear to be a scam. They have over 70 bad reports on the Champlain NY BBB.

So....has anyone had a run-in with this company? How did you get them to take the directory back? (We sent the directory -- unopened -- back to their address -- they refused the Airborne package and had it returned to us). Thank you for your help.
