Hyabusa's were the big dogs for awhile, but lately you need to check out a K1300S, the sleeping Bavarian giant has awoken.

The Busa' is 40 lbs heavier, and that's with supposedly lighter old fashioned chain. The Busa' is completely Japanese conventional and is lacking all the sophisticated high tech features of the K1300S. For example:
Busa - 571 lbs wet mfg claim - K1300S 534 lbs wet mfg actual
Busa chain - K1300S Paralever anti torque shaft drive, clean and reliable
Busa forks - K1300S Duolever anti-dive Hotchkiss front end
Busa disc brakes - K1300S Integral ABS II standard equipment
Busa suspension - K1300S - ESA - Electronic Suspension Adjustment
On the fly damping and preload adjustments
Busa cold hands - K1300S heated grips
Busa wet sump - K1300S dry sump
Busa smoke the tire - K1300S ASC Automatic Slip control
Busa tire gauge - K1300S TPM Tire Pressure Management, real time tire
tire pressure i.e. 36/42 in the info window
Busa dip stick - K1300S oil level in info window
Busa conventional - K1300S Gear Shift Assist, clutchless upshifting
Busa side cases WTF? - K1300S BMW factory expandable side cases
Busa 1 yr warranty - K1300S 3 year warranty

Sure the BMW costs a little more.......but you know a well connected fellow Saaber who can get you a deal! Don't believe me, take a 24 Hour Test Ride on a K1300S from a participating dealer like San Diego BMW Motorcycles....
