inner driver going out fast during my road trip '91 900tc. i had been planning on upgrading suspension anyway, and this seems like a good time. a few questions:
--should i replace stock springs? i don't want to lose too much ride height, and i can't afford to lose ride quality on the crappy ass roads of new orleans, but i'd be willing to take a *small* hit if it would improve handling substantially. if replace, what do i go with? seems like everything i've seen gives me a much stiffer ride.
--with the above in mind, what would be a good shock rec? don't need adjustable. had good experience with bilsteins in the vw world, better handling and ride than boges...don't know if thats the same with a saab though.
--what should i do for a good front end r&r? i'm thinking tie rod ends, ball joints, all shock related stuff. is it worth it to change a-arm/sway bar bushings? this is a daily driver, and i only have a couple of days to do this, including replacing axle/inner driver. i haven't done this type of thing on a saab, but it seems like everything on this car is a complete PITA to do...
thanks!
