I will post for Jak as I do not think he will mind. I had Jak do some 60-90mph testing to compare his car with my car. ON my best ever I was able to get 3:5 second runs at night with it being very cold. My average is around 3:6-3:7 seconds, I tried a 70-100mph and I was slower at about 3:8 seconds. Jak went out and tried some runs, he put down a nice respectible 60-90mph in 3:8 seconds, but when he tried a 70-100mph, he slamed out a 3:5 second run!!! This was at around 40F. So this was good information and showed how my gt3071 was spooling up faster than his gt3271 journal bearing turbo. It also showed that his top end was better than my top end, his turbo had moved the sweet spot farther up into the rpm band and he has better top end, I have better mid to upper mid range.
This is also clear when you compare dyno graphs, its easy to see my turbo spooling up faster and making more power and torque earlier in the rpm band, but then his monster just blows by me on the top end where my car just flattens out and starts to fall, his is still climbing. Its good information about the performance on the road with our similar, yet different turbo choices.... John
