there is a plug underneath the the little cap surrounding the ignition, make sure you plugged that back in. If everything is still plugged in correctly, try disconnecting the battery to reset the ECU.

As for the shifter itself, I can attest that it is the worst product I have ever bought for my car. After months of problems. I was sent a replacement, and after taking the old one out I had realized he sent me the wrong one. So my mechanic had to dis-assembled the old one and mate the new shifter to the old housing. Didn't work any better, then he had the balls to try and charge me more money he said the old one was damaged. It wasn't damaged, we re-engineered it to just to get it working.

His shifter is poorly researched and designed. Also he uses self tapping screws on one axis to hold the shifter in place, which doesn't work at all, they just become loose and the whole shifter rocks and vibrates. The throws are inaccurate at best and ended up damaging my shift linkage at the transmission because the outside gear throws (1st 4th 5th and reverse), are all round at the end due to improper size shift ball he uses.

I know another 2 people that have had to sent back one his shifter 4 times before he asked for a refund and another one who is stuck like me because they already sent there old one back to him. So we are now stuck with this horrible shifter.
