Hey Adam,,
Having a good Thanksgiving Day?.........Hmmm,,, Ok, im not quit sure myself,,, I guess i should gather that before i bring the Snips out..)..I have seen a picture from the side of the engine,, the timing cover side...Like on Dmitry's site,,,,Im thinking the chain is closest to the timing cover, and the timing chain closest to the block. I have read alot on it,, but have not seen a good variety of pictures..Actually, id like to see some pictures from under the block,,,,I believe the balance chain uses a larger sprocket than the timing chain(on the crankshaft),,, Ill find something soon,,,,These Saab sites are amazing,, The people, help, and information is practically un-limited,, I love it!..Thanks again,, Happy Napping....
