Hirsch Performance offered in the US for 2011? Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Wed, 24 Nov 2010 08:16:03 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Apparently both Hirsch and SaabUSA are leaving major hints that Hirsch Performance products will be offered in the US beginning in 2011. Initial hints have all revolved around the new 9-5, but I wonder if they will offer factory tuning for older models as well. Isn't the 2.0T from the 2011 9-5 the same engine in the 9-3SS/SC/CV family?
The major advantage of Hirsch, full factory warranty support, is probably not a concern to owners of older models. The higher price of Hirsch tuning kits would likely eliminate them from consideration for older cars which are near or past warranty experiaiton.
