When people ask about tires, I usually recommend the Nokian NRV, because I've had such good luck with mine on my ‘98 CSE. So far I think only one person has responded that they are also running this great tire. I don’t understand why there aren’t more people raving about this tire. Maybe it’s because Nokian is not on the super slick, endless verbage, “TireRack” web site.

The centerfold advertisement of the current “Nines” magazine has a two page color ad for Nokian Tyres. Like I said, I have the NRV, but the new NRZi looks really cool too. I like that temperature gauge, and wear indicators calibrated in millimeters. NRV is a summer/rain tire that works well down to just above freezing temperatures. But make no mistake about it. If you do happen to get into some snow with these tires, you’ll regret it. You may as well have skis on your car. The NRV is not designed for snow anyway, so you know that going in.

The NRV rides great, keeps you on the road around the corners, and handles rain better than anything I’ve ever had. They are not as quiet as some some all season tires, but not that bad either. All in all a fantastic tire.

I think I found a fantastic product, so I’m just putting my two cents in. I’m just a satisfied customer. I have no connection whatsoever with this tire company.
