Help Lowering 95-AERO

I have been doing my share of reading about lowering my 95 Aero. I have come up with many different things, many people that I talk to in shops are saying that I can lower my car with the same springs that would be used in a Cs or CSE and get the same level of drop rate. I tend to think that it would be different. I am going to be putting a clutch in my car over the next 2 weeks and thought if I was going to be ripping the thing apart I want to do the springs at the same time.
So here I go, I need help from people that have lowered their 95 or same generation Aero what springs did you use would you recommend I am looking for a drop no more than 1.5" probably 1.25 has anyone done that drop? With factory wheels 205-55-16 and a drop that low 1.25-1.50" am I going to looking like my wheels are to far into the wells? I want to look of the tires and the wells to be sitting almost even flush, clean, and tight I do not want to look like a civic from the city. I have a lot of information here and have asked a few questions but if you can do you best I appreciate anything!
