Ideally, with a little 99 notchback, i wanted to pack as much power into it using a conventional saab engine (i'm not looking to put non-saab engines into it), and it seems that the 9000 2.3l engine would be the best candidate for such a swap (provided it could even possibly fit, even with extensive custom work). This would help fix the weak link in the transmission that always seems to be an issue with 900's, as the power goes up, something usually breaks in there, unless you have one of the 4 speed trannys that GM brings in. But other than a 2.3l 9000 setup, i'm definetly open to suggestions. Would heavy head modifications get me to the same point with less hassel and financial obligation?
