ECU PROBLEMS HELP? (LONG)

Well here is the problem. I have installed a Abbott ECU stage 3 with the 12psi wastegate on my ng900set. I have had several problems with my car since installing the ECU.

1. Before when I hit fuel cut-off the car remained on. Now it turns off I need to restart the car.
2. The car will not start in the mornings or after long periods of not in use.

Had a Saab dealer look at the car for electrical problems nothing was found. The dealer then checked the water temp pump still nothing wrong. The dealer also scaned the car for any problems still nothing found. The car though will start if jumped and will operate as normal unless if not in use for some period of time.

Abbott claims that the ECU could not be the problem. States the ecu may be on after the car is off but it only requires one volt to run. They believe that the problem is in a bad ground, water temp gauge or something else that is not related to the ECU.

To determine if the problem is the ECU the dealer has ordered a stock ECU for the car and will allow me to use for a week to see if the problem improves at a stocking fee since the item is not in stock.

The cost of finding out what the problem is now at over 250+ and climbing fast. It seems that Abbott would be the best to look over the car only problem is that they are in England and not in the US.

My question is has anyone had this problem in the past or heard of this problem and can lend any suggestions.
