Advice on TDO4 install?

Adding my TDO4 to the car soon, right now it's just sitting in the garage. Do you have any advice on the install?

This is what I have done so far.

Found a TDO4 at the local salvage yard and bought it with all the lines. Sanded down all the lines and have painted them with hight temp paint to reduce any rusting. Picking up a used header from my mechanic who is going to let me swap the unit with mine orginal unit after the install. This way I plan on porting the head to match the turbo and possibly getting it painted in ceramic to reduce temp but, mainly to make it look better.

I have already tried once to take my old turbo off my car but had two problems which were trying to figure out how to get to the bolt located in the intake to the turbo, you know the one located at the bottom. The other problem is once I had all my header bolts unscrewed I was not able to remove the header and feared if I used a pry bar that I would break a header bolt, is there a secret to this? Also in the past you stated that there is a secret to the vacuum hose, what is it?

The othe issue is that I need a new intake hose and have been looking around at 90 degree silicone(expensive) but also noticed that SCAT($5.25ft) might work as well because it bends rather easily and can withstand over 450 degrees, has any ever used this before? or is a 90 degree bent pipe better connected with silicone?

Any advice would be appreciated.
