I've received enough feedback to feel ok about using the newer style narrow injectors and newer one peice manifold that accepts those injectors directly. I'm not sure about the new temp sensor with the four wires, I'll probably use the old temp and pressure sensors in the intake pipe to throttle body.
On the transmission side I am going to go ahead and change the fifth gear to the .7 ratio from the origional .66.
I have been driving the 9000 AERO while the viggen is down, and the gearbox I built for the Aero has the 4.05 final drive and the same 4th as the viggen but with the .7 fifth gear. The Big gap to fifth in the viggen and 9-5 boxes is a fun robber even though it pulls forever.
