So, for a while I have had a busted shift knob, I was waiting until I bought the short shifter to replace with the leather know, but since SOC was coming up and I didn't wanted to roll in with a broken shift top an wanted something a little larger than the current size for my grip. then the lightbulb went off. So off to the Loews warehouse, I picked up some super glue and Plasti-Dip. Plasti-Dip is used to create a rubberized grip on your wrenches etc. So I superglued the knob back together and a few coats of plasti-dip, and good as new, best part is if it doesn't look right or you just dont like it your can peel it off. So now its gotta dry overnight, but here the pics to give you and idea. Came out pretty good this morning. If i don't like it then im gonna try it again then when its wet, put on a latex glove and hold it for a few min till it slightly sets creating a perfect grip to my hand. Also did some wrenches while I was at it.
