Warranty claims times are based on the time that the condition was first
brought to the attention of the manufacturer or the manufacturers'
authorized service facility. They can't void their responsibility by first
dismissing the condtion and then, after the warranty expires, 'noticing'
that the condition must be repaired. *IF* you have documentation that you
presented your car to a Saab dealer complaining of chain noise while the
car was still under warranty, you should be covered.

Maybe its time for NINES to publish a synopsis of the Moss Magnusun
Warranty Act (probably called something more pretentious). Any attorneys
out there who want to write it up?
