   Speaking of emblem replacement,
The emblem on my '86 900S decide to fade out after 15 yrs.
It was fine for 14 yrs, and then one day recently, I noticed that the red
and blue paint on the Griffon emblem was totally gone, it's now bare metal.
   Perhaps a hint that it's time for a new one?
(Plus a new car to mount it on ;-)

   Are replacement emblems available at dealers?
If I do manage to get a new one, whether at a dealer, my mechanic, or a
boneyard, I think I'll mount it upside-down and see if anybody notices ;-).
