recommended winter tires ...optimum performance in wet snow/rain as well
as ice.
it's usually mild (ie: snows infrequently)but with frequent rainfall.

If you're willing to give a little on the ice part, Nokian NRW have
excellent (for a 'snow tire') dry and wet road traction, good traction in
wet snow/slush, acceptable (again in winter tire terms) ice traction, quiet
ride and a good, long service life. And when they're worn past the 5/32
that mark the limit for 'winter tire' suitability, they're still 'H' rated
- you can run them all summer. Since it's past prime winter tire season,
you might also be able to bargain on the price for any dealers that have
them in stock.
