Or a bad temp sensor in the seat itself which senses when to turn off the heat to the seat. : Second thing is a blown light of the instrument panel. How do I get it : out without dismantling half the car? (The panel, of course. 8^) Sometimes they are not blown but just loose and reseating them brings them back to life. The easiest way to get at them is to remove the front speaker grill. One screw and then carefully pry it out. Sometimes the retaining clips need to be pressed in with a screwdriver while trying to pull out the grill cover. The speaker will come out with it. There is also a short piece of tube that connects the defrost hole down to the heat vent (about 5 or 6 inches long this tube). Anyway, once you pull that out (it really is a snap, the description just sounds wordy) you can reach in and get to most of the lights in the panel. Try wiggling them around first to see if they come back on. Unfortunately you can not really see in there while you are reaching so you either have to look into the hole (through the windshield) and figure out where to reach, or just fumble around be feel and hope you are grabbing the right one.
