This vehicle now has 120,000 miles on it,runs great,and still whines. It is definately a turbo noise but it never worried me,and it never got any louder or quieter.I wouldn't worry about it,just keep changing the oil regularly using a good quality synthetic - don't be tempted to use a heavier grade than normal.
