Does it sound like a simple seal replacement or is the rack junk? The rack has always been junk. It is made by GM and doesn't live up to the standards of the rest of the car. You can try to find a low mileage clean used one, but it will die at some point also. I have squeaked 25,000 miles out of mine after it started going through fluid by changing to a "stop-leak" type fluid. Glenn
