Joe, Your stereo can be removed. You may want to check with a Saab dealer for the tool and to get the code for your stereo. You will need the security code when you reinstall it. If you send your stereo to Clarion Corp of America Inc. with a money order for $80 and note explaining what is wrong, they will service your unit and return it in 5 to 15 days. The number in New Jersey is (201) 818-1166. They are a factory service center. There is one on the West Coast too, but I don't have their number. The on/off switch on the Clarion in my 87 9000S is in pretty bad shape. I will be sending my unit in, when I have the money. Ken Washington 87 9000S 87 900S 83 900T
