Rick, Slick 50 is not recommended for high mileage engines. I believe if you read the fine print on the bottle, it tells you this. They never said this in their commercials. The problem with PTFE is that it is a solid. There are several engines that have very small oil passages. It does not take much to block one of those and damage an engine becasue oil cannot reach a vital part. That is one reason I avoid the new Fram oil filters with teflon in them. Two sites I know of that sell Militec-1 by mail order are www.apdinc.com and www.bwv.com. Ken Washington 87 9000S If you order from www.apdinc.com try the GTA Fuel Conditioner. This stuff is awesome. I have been running it for just over 400 miles. It does what the info says. You will notice a major difference in power and my engine runs so smooth.
