Just got my new Bentley service manual for my 84 900T coupe, as suggested by Justin and others, and it's great! More helpful in many ways than the Saab factory books. One thing that it doesn't seem to cover, however, and isn't well discussed by the factory manuals either, is the process of draining transmission oil (I want to swap it out for Redline MTL). Is the plug hard to find on the manual tranny? Any parts to replace on the plug (washers, etc?) The Bentley book also mentions a washer on the engine oil pan drain plug -- is this a special part I should mail-order, or is it generic enough to buy at a chain parts store? Thanks! J.
