I've just had my 900 87 16/t engine stripped down and put back together - seals, gaskets, valves seals, hoses, etc etc. The car runs beautifully now (160,000m) but, since the rebuilt, fuel economy has dropped from about 28-30 per gallon, to around 20. Any ideas please? Cheers bp ps - is it just me, or is the quality of fuel deteriorating? I have to use super unleaded to make mine run right, but it's costing me over 80 pence per litre.
