Despite Justin's misgivings, which I presume are based primarily upon gearbox concerns (and are colored by his C900 lenses ;) ), you can call Dan Saarony at Accelerated Response Motoring at 888-767-7333, a dealer for Abbott Racing Motorsports (both have web sites, though I don't have the URL's handy). He'll be able to tell you what Abbott has available for your car. I regard Abbott as a very reputable Saab tuner, which would not outrageously jeopardize the reliability and durability of your car. That being said, such upgrades WILL impact the maintenance requirements and longevity of your engine, transmission and drive train components. You MAY need to upgrade the exhaust system to take full advantage of a Trionic upgrade. I'm not sure what, if anything is yet available for the V-6t. I've driven one, nice car! So smooth you don't realize how quick it is. Enjoy! I run an Abbott Trionic upgrade and dump valve in my '97 900 convertible, at up to 19 psi of boost, along with a Saab sport exhaust. No ill effects to date, but that's only ~8-9 months and probably 8-10K miles. There was recently an article about Abbott in Automobile magazine (December issue?) in which they claimed no increase in warranty repairs with their mods. That raises a good point, that you run a risk of your factory warranty not covering repairs, as a result of an non Saab performance upgrade. This is a consideration if you were to blow a head gasket, head or transmission. These are a few of the considerations. You need to make your own decision on costs/benefits/risks.
