Your salesman was a fool. I have a 89 9000s the seat heater on the drivers
side finally died, after 200000 miles. I used them every time it was cold,
and in the summer when I had back aches. The fix isn't too bad, the seat
cover is removed and the old wiring web is removed. A new web is stuck to
the seat and the cover replaced. I had it done to my 82 900s when that one
failed. I don't think I'll do it for this one however. Murray
