Regarding the coolent, if there are no visable leaks it could be leaking into the engine, head gasket if you are lucky, turbo seal or cracked head or block if you are not. Is there any sweet smelling white smoke from the exhaust? The other possibility is a leaking heater core. 9000s are notorious for this. Again, you get a sweet smell in the car and the windshild fogs up much more than it should. Another possibility is that you are overfilling the reservoir. With Saab's wierd closed coolent system there must be considerable headspace in the reservoir or the pressure builds up and something gives. I have noticed with both my 900s and 9000 if I filled the reservoir to the "max" line it always went down near the "min" line after one long drive. Good luck, Ramsey Frist
