Could this be caused by a duff fuel pump? When the tanks half full or less, it just cuts out and refuses to restart. I checked the pump outlet - no fuel. It will restart once back on the level. Its an '81 99 single carb. I've blowed down the fuel line incase of blockages and it seems to have helped - for now. chris
