Hey Folks, I owned an 85 900S years ago and loved the car (except for the acceleration). So its time to buy a car again and I'm looking for another Saab. I've got a chance to buy a '96 900 SE with about 28,000 Miles on it. It seems to have just about all the options. What is a fair price? I've heard about reliability problems on the 94-96 models... is that a legitimate concern? Anything I should look out for? It has about a year left on the warranty. Should I consider extending that for a few years? Also, when I tried to put the car into 5th gear the shifter slid all the way to the right (above reverse). After a few tries I was able to get it into 5th by not going all the way over. When I turned off the car I was able to slip it into reverse without pulling up the handle.
